WLMG on Watford Way in Mill Hill has a new addition to its fleet of vehicles – a golf buggy! An ex-Ryder Cup golf buggy, no less!
You’re sure to be wondering why? General sales manager Gary Cleator explains: “With a two acre site, holding over 130 used cars on a slight incline, it can be a bit of a trek for our customers to walk from the showroom to the top end of the pitch, especially in the rain and bad weather. We also have a lot of Motability customers, some of whom have difficulties walking, so we wanted to find a way to make getting around the site a little easier for everyone – and this is the perfect solution.”
The buggy was used by some of the top golfers at this year’s Ryder Cup but once the event was over, the buggy went up for auction and WLMG snapped it up! It still has all the Ryder Cup branding and is already a talking point at the dealership.
Customer Mrs Petrina Lordan from East Barnet, and her son Stephen, were among the first to make the most of the buggy and on a bright but cold day in November, the speedy ride up to the top end of the pitch to look at a quality used Nissan Micra was much appreciated.
