ON THE ROAD AND ON THE WATER WITH NISSAN IN SHEPPERTON

The mighty Nissan Navara proved it is ideal for towing boats.

WLN Shepperton partnered with Thames boat dealer Lindon Lewis Marine to hold a spectacular open day at Shepperton Lock in June. The event was a huge success with over 200 people turning out on the day to see and test drive a range of new Nissans, and new and classic boats.

Among the Nissan vehicles making an appearance at the event were the tough and powerful Navara 4x4, which is ideal for towing boats; the stylish, yet rugged, X-Trail; and the exhilarating 350z. WLMG staff were on hand throughout the day to offer advice to customers on choosing a suitable Nissan vehicle and finance package to meet their requirements. A couple of the vehicles on show were fitted with tow bars and were displayed towing boats out of the water.

Would be mariners were also invited to test drive a huge range of boats on the day. These included glass fibre Quicksilver mini cruisers and weekenders, Polar Kraft aluminium punts, Genesis polyethylene Ribs and Walker Bay sailing dinghies.
