Creative local kids displayed their artistic flair and brushed off the opposition in a family art competition held at each of the WLMG dealerships.
The NOTE “Big Adventure” picture competition was organised to mark the launch of the Nissan NOTE, and children aged 12 and under were invited to draw their very own big family adventure. Winners were as follows:
Mill Hill
Winner - Seven-year-old Seun Utulu, who showed his family enjoying a picnic together.
Runners up - Lillis Cross, aged seven, and Anastasia Cross, aged ten.
Hanwell
Winner - Five-year-old Farhan Ahmad, who drew a family outing to the zoo, with monkeys, lions, rhinos and a parrot.
Runners up - Vikram Kohli, aged nine, and Kazim Khan, aged 11.
Shepperton
Winner - Ten-year-old Chloe Imrie-Welton, who showed a family trip to outer space with spaceships, moonwalkers, stars and planets. She even drew the family dog going along for the ride!
The winner of each local heat received a 215 piece art kit packed full of artists’ materials and a bumper goody bag. Their picture has now been put forward to a regional heat. Each of the four regional winners’ entries will appear in giant format on an eye-catching ad-van that will tour their local area, and will appear on a special competition website.
A national winner will then be picked, who will win a family home computer studio – including an iMac G5 computer, wireless keyboard and mouse, a digital camera and printer, and a desk and chair.
Pencils, crayons and drawing pads were provided in the dealership for children to draw their family adventure, featuring the NOTE – which offers a host of ingenious features to make family journeys easier. Naeem Hanif, managing director of WLMG, said: “We have seen some fantastic pictures of family adventures drawn by local children.
“Hopefully the NOTE inspired the entrants to come up with some really imaginative drawings and paintings depicting a family adventure. We wish all our winners good luck for the next stage of the competition – it would be great to see children local to our dealerships win the regional stage and go on to the national final.”
Families test-driving the new Nissan NOTE will find it offers a spacious interior while remaining more agile than an unwieldy estate. There are plenty of clever features including smart storage, using the “Flexi-board” – reversible floor panels to divide the boot in two and keep your shopping separate from muddy shoes. Some models also offer a trip computer, auto air conditioning, rain-sensitive wipers and an intelligent key.
The NOTE delivers great performance from a range of petrol and diesel engine sizes, while expressive design means the NOTE will turn heads with large front lights, muscular lines and stylish curves.
